Nana’s Comfort Foods is the product of my life-long dream — being able to share my creations with family and friends, as well as experimenting in the kitchen to create new recipes.
I began this journey in 2006 with four dip mixes. I was frustrated when I read the ingredient lists of commercial products. There were names of things I’ve never heard of, let alone even pronounce! Nana's Comfort Foods has made it easy to enjoy homemade creations without all the time and mess.
I am married to Jim and I have two grown children who have blessed us with five grandchildren – Hence the “Nana” in my company’s name.
Since opening up my kitchen, I’ve created many products to aid in your meal preparation, entertaining, and just having fun with your friends and family! I currently have 15 flavors of dip mix to make a quick appetizer for friends who pop in and my Meal Makers assist you to create a supper that’s simple and delicious. With several varieties, they make it easy to cook a hot, fresh meal every night of the week!
Some of my customers wanted to share these products with their friends and family, so I now offer personalized gift packages. Whether it’s a tasty cake-in-a-cup, a handcrafted soup mix or a gift basket filled with all sorts of my goodies, you won’t be disappointed!
An exciting new development occurred in 2009, when I became a distributor of PrairieFire Coffee Roasters premium coffees, a Kansas product. With many different flavors, there is something to fulfill the craving of every coffee drinker.
I only use the finest herbs and spices to create very flavorable mixes. Most have no preservatives. The spices and herbs are not treated with any pesticides while growing.
